Wisp is a ghost in the Fauna Crossing serial. He first appeared in Animal Crossing and appears in all subsequent games except Creature Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: New Leaf prior to the Welcome amiibo update. He appears at dark, usually between 12 AM and 4 AM, and rewards the player with items or services later on a specific task is completed.

In Animate being Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori eastward+, Wisp is depicted wearing a hitaikakushi and can appear in a random acre between 12 AM and four AM. In order for Wisp to appear, the town must have 8 or more weeds. In one case this requirement is met, Wisp volition appear on a random night in 2 to 4 days.
